PLEASE READ OUR REMOTE SUPPORT POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SITE AND/OR SERVICE This is a legal agreement between the person or organization (“Customer” or “you”) agreeing to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and ServU Tech. When we refer to “ServU Tech,” “we,” “our,” or “us” in this policy, we are referring to ServU Tech, and all of its subsidiaries and affiliates, including ServU Files, ServU Mail and ServU Now. By accepting these Terms, signing an Order, or using the Services, you represent that you are of legal age and have the authority to bind the Customer to the Order, these Terms, and the applicable Service Descriptions (collectively the “Agreement”). YOUR USE OF THE REMOTE ACCESS SUPPORT SERVICES OFFERED BY OR THROUGH ANY SERVU TECH WEBSITE, INCLUDING SERVUNOW.COM, SHALL CONSTITUTE YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF OUR TERMS OF USE AND ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH BELOW. You have requested the assistance of ServU Tech through a remote connection to your computer. The ability for ServU Tech to remotely access your computer significantly enhances our ability to resolve your technical problems quickly. You understand that by requesting such assistance, you will be providing ServU Tech with access to and control of your computer. In addition, you may be providing ServU Tech with access to files that reside on your computer and the ability to log and/or record screenshots. Be sure to close any confidential or personal files that you may be working on, before allowing remote access to your computer. In order to provide our services, ServU Tech is not expected to need to make any copies or downloads of your files or to retain any information accessed from your computer. Your name and contact details provided in order to log your support request will be processed for use with the specific service and will be used in accordance with the ServU Tech Privacy policy. Although every precaution will be taken to preserve all data and software on the computer, you acknowledge that occasionally erasure or loss of data or software may occur. It is strongly recommended that you back up your data and documents prior to the service. IN NO EVENT SHALL SERVU TECH BE LIABLE FOR: (i) ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR (ii) ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER RESULTING FROM LOSS OF USE, DATA OR PROFITS, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER TORTIOUS ACTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROVISION OF TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES. SERVUNOW REMOTE APPLICATION (CLIENT): End users (guest) can watch the tech (host) working, initiate chat sessions, or end the session at any time. The remote support client is automatically removed from the guest machine after the session is ended. For contract IT support customers establishing a remote support connection via ServU Now Installed Client: By signing an IT support contract with us and engaging ServU Tech to manage your IT systems on a daily basis, you allow us to install and use the ServU Now Installed Client on each computer/server/laptop in your company. We will only connect to your computer via the ServU Now Installed Client when you have requested remote support from us. The ServU Now Installed Client is NOT removed from the customer machine after the session is ended. SECURITY: If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us.
